| As posted before, tiny rpojectors are coming out and i think will soon be the norm for people on tour and stuff. http://abaclan.com/tony-s-geeky-toys-computer-area-f42/asus-ee-pc-desktop-t369.htmWell theres another new kid on the block (not Joey!!) http://uk.gizmodo.com/2008/06/09/tiny_projector_for_cinema_on_t.html - Quote :
- We have seen some cute prototypes of tiny projectors but budget AV supplier Aiptek is planning to steal a jump on rivals with its own offering, the PocketCinema V10.
As you can see, this thing is very small indeed, resembling something more like a mobile phone than what you'd typically associate with a projector. This model was previewed at Computex last week and boasts 3M's miniature projection technology on the inside to throw up a 50in image, perfect for portable presenters or party folk. 3M previewed the system here at CES 2008.
Video is accepted through a 3-in-1 AV jack and there's support for AVI and MPEG-4 video formats, although resolution is still a mystery. If it's the same 3M system previewed this year then you're looking at VGA. You can also use it to show off your photos thatnks to 1GB of internal memory and there's a multi-format card reader to handle SD, MMC and MS Pro cards for adding a lot more storage. There's even a stereo speaker and internal battery.
Ace!!! This is my next investment i think

| 3M have released this pocket projector, i think this will be my next treat. This thing paired with a diddy laptop such as an EEPC http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=LT-155-AS&groupid=959&catid=1070&subcat=&name=Asus%20Eee%20PC%20701-BL%20Intel%20Mobile%20900MHz%207"%20Laptop%20(Black) or webbook http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-server-PageServer?article=MAIN.UK.INTERNET.TRADEWIRELESS.IMAGES1.LAPTOPS provide a portable (map pocket sized!!) capability to watch high quality films (50 inch) which can be recharged from a battery on an AFV in a short time. - Quote :
- The holy grail of projector technology is not HD but making projectors small enough to fit inside your pocket or, even better, inside a mobile phone.
DLP inventors Texas Instruments have been pushing a tiny one around the various trade shows but now, from left field, 3M is about to launch the first actual pico projector in a few weeks.
On September 30, the MPro110 mini projector, looking like a mobile phone, goes on sale in the US first for around £190. Even Optoma should be caught hopping on that one.

- It weighs in at 140g and measures 5.08cm x 2.29cm x 11.43cm. It has VGA for hooking up to laptops and composite for connecting it to any number of mobile devices like a PSP, iPod, camera, iPhone etc. and will project them onto any surface. If it's white it's best and the darker the room the better. Resolution is 640 x 480 and despite its size, the MPro110 can throw up a 50in image - like having big TV in your pocket. It weighs in at 140g and measures 5.08cm x 2.29cm x 11.43cm.

| Its been lauched over here now, and i am gutted Its 300 notes and no cool tiny projector is worth that. Up to a ton maybe but not 300!! - Quote :
- Priced at £299, the MPro110 micro professional projector weighs just 152g and measures 115 x 50 x 22mm. It runs completely silently and can run for an hour off its rechargeable battery.
With a 4:3 ratio it's not widescreen and the resolution of 640 x 480 pixels is not exactly eye candy but we are talking about a tiny pocket projector that can throw up a video, presentation or photograph on a wall from 5 to 50in in size. Just before being slipped back in your pocket, making you the coolest suit in the room. And an hour for the battery??? Thats bollox, what about a 2 hour film? Never mind, maybe there'll be cheaper ones to follow if this does well? http://uk.gizmodo.com/2008/10/01/uk_gets_first_miniature_projec.html
